ShapeShop started as a research project started by Ryan Schmidt at the University of Calgary in 2004, and development is continuing and the University of Toronto. There have been a variety of research publications which either are directly about ShapeShop, or used ShapeShop as a platform. Versions of these papers are available below (Note that in some cases the copyright for these papers is owned by the association that published it.
